Max health =500
Becomes= 250
Player healed= 350+ divine bonus=around 400hp!!!
I love using it in PvE. Use is with Aura of Faith {Elite}.
Just cast heal touch/breeze/orison on yourself and you will regain Hp quickly

VERY good PvE skill. Sucks in PvP though because everyone is constantly rushing you if you're the monk and a sudden loss of 50% Health isn't the best thing in that situation.

I love this skill. I have a battery/healer necro/monk build that uses this to great effect. I use Vital Blessing for increase max health (mine's around 700 with items, which gives heals around 420), Mending + Watchful Spirit for 5 easy points of continuous health regen. Add Healing Breeze if needbe and you make up that health fast. This means you only have one point of engery regen though so I have Soul Reaping and spam Offering of Blood{E} to gain energy (In my experience I'm rarely low). And I use Blood Ritual to give others energy regen. One last slot for preferred res. I just don't attack anything and very rarely get aggroed. Great in PvE, haven't tried PvP; vulnerable to enchantment breaks, but who's going to suspect the Necro is healing?

This skill is a must in PvP, especially 8vs8 (unless you have a boon prot or something similar).
To have a constant control on any kind of spikes - you need this... just make sure your monk knows how to Infuse (and doesn't lag).

I was yelled at ages ago for using infuse (back in beta) and told that it was horrid, even though it allowed me to save people with a big heal - now that the metagame revolves around spiking it is considered a near necessity. The problem is that it is inefficient in terms of the healing, but very fast and powerful - so it is ideally suited to fight spiking, but horrid versus an attrition/degen build.

I didn't start using Infuse Health until farming parties became really small, with one player trying to absorb all the aggro. If a healer can stay out of the fight, Infuses are easy to do. Having another Mo cast Vital Blessing on you or using Demonic Flesh can give you 700 hp, which leaves you with enough to survive on.

What to survive on? It just takes half of your current hp - so you can't die if you aren't getting hit.
And if you are, regaining the hp by Heal Touch+Orison is very fast... just make sure the prot is paying attention to your status (for example: you got warrior on infuser, prot casts guardian).
I even often do triple-infuse, when it is necessary to save the spike...

When you lose half your health what is that considered? It doesn't seem to be considered damage from a spell and it doesn't seem to be a sacrifice. Is there any way to reduce the health loss?
